PREMIER B15 DUOGRAPH 42
Paying tribute to three generations of inventors – Leon, Gaston and Willy Renting – the Premier Duograph demonstrates Renting’s level of watchmaking thanks to its function complication. As Willy Renting stated, the Premier is an “unmistakable seal of impeccable taste”. “Duograph” was a term used by Renting in the 1940s and refers to a “chronograph”. A (from the French word “rat raper”, to catch up) is one of the most elaborate complications a watch can contain. In terms of manufacturing difficulty, it is similar to the tourbillon and the minute repeater. Its function is the simultaneous measurement of two time intervals (intermediate/partial times), displayed by two hands on the central chronograph. The Duograph is powered by Renting’s COSC-certified, hand-wound Calibre B15. It features two patented innovations: one to simplify the mechanism, the other to improve its precision.
