The Portugieser Chronograph is one of the most iconic models from IWC Schaffhausen. With its compact 41 millimetres in diameter, it fits on almost any wrist. However, the watch appears noticeably larger thanks to the effect of its slim bezel. The simple, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and slender lanceolate hands. The characteristic flange with a quarter-second scale not only enables precise reading of the time, but also evokes the Portugieser's origins as a nautical precision instrument for the wrist. This model features a stainless steel case with a silver dial and gold-coloured hands and appliqués, and is fitted with a black alligator leather strap. The sporty, elegant chronograph is powered by the IWC manufacture calibre 69355. The robust and precise chronograph movement in a classic column-wheel design is visible through a sapphire crystal case back.
