Although IWC introduced its Ingenieur model in 1955, the name of this watch family is usually associated with Gérald Genta. During the 1970s, the legendary Geneva designer created the Ingenieur SL Ref. 1832, translating his artistic vision into a luxury stainless steel sports watch with an integrated bracelet. The Ingenieur Automatic 40 reflects the bold aesthetic codes of Genta’s iconic Ingenieur watch and meets the highest standards of ergonomics, finish and technology. This model features a case with an integrated bezel and bracelet with H-shaped links and a stainless steel butterfly folding clasp, all finished with elaborately polished and satin-finished surfaces.
